Three Health Boards are working on introducing diabetes foot education for their patients and communities as part of the national Adopt and Spread Programme.”
These are:
- Betsi Cadwaladr University Health Board
- Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (2 sites)
- Hywel Dda University Health Board
- Online sessions for people from black and ethnic minority groups across South Wales by The Mentor Ring
Due to the impact of the COVID-19 restrictions, and redeployment and other disruptions for the team adopting this approach in Cardiff and Vale University Health Board, one of the two sites have paused their work and are going to consider the appropriate steps at a later stage.
