Making changes due to COVID-19


Following an extraordinary year of events due to the global pandemic, services were redesigned with more innovative ways of reaching the people requiring support. The impact on the adoption sites working on the Adopt and Spread Programme included:

  • Delayed starts to the adoption of the service innovation
  • Moves away from the normal face-to-face contact with patients to virtual consultations.
  • Introduction of group services and other ways of working which makes the service effective with a smaller group of staff

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board (CTMUHB) designed services where patients and Health Board staff can access care.
