Antibiotic Resistance

The “Holy Grail” of narrative reporting will be a reduction in antimicrobial resistance.

The Antibiotic Eye website, developed by other colleagues in Public Health Wales will eventually allow us to inspect antibiotic resistance trends. For now this remains under development. Colleagues within the NHS in Wales have access to the data published on the NHS Intranet and may wish to review their own data via the website. This will allow individual practices and hospitals to review their prescribing trends over time.

Over time, we will aim to share antibiotic resistance data via this page.
